Carcharodontosaurus was a large and powerful predator belonging to the Carcharodontosauridae family. It is closely related to Giganotosaurus and Mapusaurus and lived alongside the Spinosaurus. It had a large skull filled with jagged teeth and unlike the Mapusaurus it was likely a solitary hunter. A very adaptable and well-rounded carnivore, Carcharodontosaurus fills in the generalist role amongst the apexes.

Paleo Chronicles

Carcharodontosaurus lived in the early to middle Cretaceous period. It was proposed to be 39 – 44 feet long and weighed between 6 – 12 tons. It lived in an especially competitive environment where it lived alongside other heavy hitters like Spinosaurus, Sarcosuchus and its smaller relative Sauroniops. It had a keen sense of smell and good vision with the former said to be better than dogs. Its teeth were serrated and designed to rip apart flesh. Its forearms, although small, were powerful in proportion to its size and could have been used to grab and even kill smaller prey.

Carcharodontosaurus is very adaptable and performs its role as an all rounder in its class. It has got decent speed, damage and a large enough health pool. Its serrated teeth can cause the Bleed effect in creatures with consecutive bites. It can however be overpowered by the others in its class but it is powerful in its own right.
