One of the largest carnivores ever discovered, Mapusaurus lived in the Cretaceous period and all evidence suggests that it was a pack hunter. Growing up to 43 feet long and weighing 3 – 6 tons, it hunted everything in its domain. Even large sauropods were susceptible to attacks from Mapusaurus packs.

In Game

One of the boss creatures in the game, Mapusaurus often roams the pack in groups of three. They are highly aggressive and will attack anything in its vicinity. Curiously enough, they refrain from attacking very small creatures. They are extremely tough to take down but once it is done, it can provide large quantities of food that lasts for days.
